Fresh from releasing their self-titled debut album, Beggar Joe are now set to storm the stage, at a selection of dates, as the opening act for the infamous Ian Brown on his current UK tour.

The renowned Manchester based quintet have recently ignited the UK’s press with their faultless blend of blues guitar and seamless finger work, perfectly offset by front man Jon Kenzie’s raw and engaging vocals. Beggar Joe’s exemplary ability to blend elements of English blues against jazzy tones has earned them rapturous praise across a wide spectrum of publications, including The Times, Blues Matters and Maverick to name but a few.

Effortlessly un-pigeonhole-able, Beggar Joe are both captivating and unpretentious. Born from an honest love and appreciation of music, this soul filled five-some will not only re-instate ones faith in ‘good music’ but highlight what will surely be an established and long-term career as one of the shining lights of current music scene. Listen out for their masterful bluesy lead-off singles ‘Ain’t No Way’ and ‘Sleeping City’.
